    • An iconic piece painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, around 1512 when Michelangelo was around 36 years old.  It is said to be one of the most replicated religious paintings of all time, with impeccable execution as well as numerous allegories including the portrayals of the human anatomy and birth, as well as biblical stories, such as the extra rib painted on the body of Adam which will later become Eve.
