    • A masterpiece of intricacy and storytelling, that took weeks of painstaking effort blowing, carving, and especially masking/plating the surface of the marble
    • The carving on the marble depicts the Greek mythological tale of Icarus, who with the wings made from wax by his father flew too close to the sun, which melted the wings, causing him to fall and drown to his death
    • Multi-layered optical effect using multiple colors of dichro, UV reactive glass, sandblasting, and colored silver leaf
    • The silver-plating technique used is from a traditional Japanese art style called "Makie(蒔絵)" originated from Ishikawa Prefecture
    • Two colors of sparkly dichroic particles used on each sides: green and yellow for the "Sun" side, purple and blue for the "Moon" side, total of four colors
    • The entire marble glows vibrantly in UV light, giving a completely different appearance to the pattern on the surface
    • One of the most intricate examples of carved patterns on a borosilicate marble, if not the most
